Day School

Let the pros lay the framework.

Designed as a low contact option during the COVID-era, Day School is a hybrid in person/virtual class. Pups are dropped off for their fifty minute session where they work alongside three other pups while training directly with our trainers on the stages of our Levels Program. While you let the pros lay the framework for teaching the skills, it’s your job at home to reinforce and master them!

Worried you’ll miss out on all the fun? No problem! Our human students learn along at home through comprehensive weekly overviews, videos and two virtual training sessions spaced out throughout the course.

Classes are rolling enrollment, so you can start at any time! Once a package is purchased, you will be brought to the scheduling page. Select your four dates and you’re good to go!

Cost: $350 (4 Fifty Minute Sessions and 2 Thirty Minute Virtuals)
Availability: Saturdays at 2:15pm

Have a pup who is fearful or reactive? Please schedule a free 15 minute phone consultation to discuss with a trainer whether this class is a suitable option for your pup.

Take a look at our frequently asked questions for more information about our day school.

Do I attend class with my dog?

No, Day School is a drop off class where your pup will work with our trainers alongside three other pups.

How many dogs are in day school?

There are a maximum of four pups and two to three trainers.

How will I know what to work on at home?

After class, we will send home video and written guides for each skill. Consistent work outside of class is the key to building a reliable cue. 🙂

What happens if I miss one or more classes?

If you are signed up for a class and fail to show up, or attempt to withdraw less than 12 hours before the start, you will lose the class credit.

What vaccines are required for day school?

Pups are required to have proof of up to date Rabies and DHPP. This can be submitted at the time of enrollment, via email, or brought in person to your first class.

Help! I already purchased a package but can't seem to find the link to enroll in class.

No problem! The class enrollment link is sent out via email when you purchase your package, so search your inbox for your Product Order confirmation email.

My dog is highly reactive or fearful. Will they be alright to attend class?

While it’s hard to tell prior to meeting your pup, we suggest scheduling a free phone consult to chat with a trainer about what the best fit for your pup is. You can do that using the CONTACT US page.

My dog is in heat. Can she still attend class?

Unfortunately, a pup in active heat is not allowed to attend class, so you will need to reschedule accordingly!

What methods do you use for training?

We are a LIMA-based facility, meaning we use the least intrusive, minimally aversive methods to train and modify behavior. We focus on using positive reinforcement to teach the dog what TO do. We do not use e-collars, prongs, or choke collars.

My dog is sick with _____. Can they still join day school?

Poor pup! Unfortunately, they cannot attend class until they are cleared. Before your pup can return to classes, you will need to supply a note from your vet stating that your dog is “healthy, non-contagious and appropriate for a group setting.” The note should be emailed to the office before you resume classes.
